GE Washer Replaced Drain Pump WH23X24178 twice in last six weeks.

I replaced the drain pump 7 weeks ago. The first pump lasted one week. Thinking it was a bad pump I ordered another one and replaced it and it now has lasted six weeks and will not drain. I am using the Original GE Pump for my model.
Is there anything wlse that could be causing the pumps to stop? Thanks.

Hi Tim,

You are getting aftermarket drain pumps with that original OEM part number on them.

The manufacturer has replaced the original OEM drain pump part number from WH23X24178 to part number WH23X28418.
