I haven't replaced the Top Bearing Asm WE03X25097 on this model as of yet, so I really don't know either how its done.

I don't see why not.

You can contact AppliancePartsPros at 1-877-477-7278 and ask them, they may have the service manual that shows you how.

I get the top bearing assembly installed. Squeaked turned squeal fixed!

There was a small plastic defect that I trimmed with a utility knife and it popped into place with some gentle persuasion and some small submarine sailor words that I learned years ago! Additionally, there was no need to remove the lower housing or use a heat source.

Attached are a few pics of the original the destroyed assembly that I removed. As I said before, three of the four contact glides were destroyed along with the felt pieces and the drum was beginning to eat away the plastic assembly.
