I have a 3 year old Whirlpool stand alone ice maker that is producing too much ice. I have tried shutting the ice machine off (as a sort of reset), running it through a clean cycle, and replacing the filter. I have run it through the diagnostics test and it does not tell me I have a bad bin thermistor but that's the only thing I can think to do next. Before I order just wanted to check and see if anyone had any other ideas. Thanks!

Corrected model number

Rick is absolutely correct!

Here's the Bin thermistor for this model:

When you click the link to it, you will see many others say the same thing theirs making too much ice, and the new Bin thermistor fixed it!

Thanks guys! I checked this morning after letting the ice maker sit over night at room temperature - and I'm getting an open circuit at the thermistor so it's definitely bad!! Appreciate the help.
