On this one the water is filling and the drain pump drains, but not cleaning. Does anyone have the technical service sheet? I would like to run the diagnostic on it. Thank you.

Ok, I read thru the tech sheet. It has a troubleshooting guide but does not clearly indicate how errors are displayed and what the error codes are. Would you know this?

Thanks bigbuck!

On this model its too old, it doesn't display errors.

You will have to use your multimeter and VOLT test power coming to the wash motor, should be 120 volts.

Do you hear the wash motor running at all when its in the wash cycle?

Here's the wash motor assembly for this model:

Yes, the wash motor runs. I ran the F1 test cycle and there were no blinking light errors. Detergent dispenser works ok, and it drains no problem. Am starting to think either a check valve replacement or recirculating dirty water somehow.

Do you hear the water in the tub splashing at all when it's in the wash cycle?

Then it should be washing fine, stay with the dishwasher and then when it drains see if the dirty water drains ALL out.

Back to this one; the machine was working...BUT; ONLY the NORMAL wash cycle and it takes over 2 hours to complete. The other cycles such as "Pots and Pans" or "Quick wash" do not run. Any suggestions?

What does the dishwasher do instead? Any sounds at all from it? Do the buttons even respond?

How come you didn't mention any of this in your first post?

Jake,

This happened after I left, not while there. It was reported to me. So, what I did, as discussed earlier, I did the F1 test (earlier version of diagnostic mode) no errors. AND, per the tech sheet, switched power on/off at the circuit breaker. This, apparently, resets the machine. I guess I am going back to look at this thing.

Ok,

Then it sounds like there are multiple problems going on. If the other cycles do nothing, then your console control board is bad: Circuit Board WD21X10116

It's no longer available.

I went back. All wash cycles were working. Pots/Pans, China/Crystal, Glassware....customer complained that Normal cycle took over 2 hours and thought it was too long. I told them to use a leer time cycle (Pots/Pans). I also told them their machine is 27yo and control board no longer available. They have a home warranty who might offer a buyout, but at 27 yo that would be next to nothing. So they will live with the machine until it dies and time to get a new one.
