Just got this dryer last night. it is used and was running fine and it just started making a noise sounding like metal scraping on metal. I'm certain there's something hot behind the drum in front of the wand do not afford a technician but want to be careful about getting it out. I cannot find instructions to do that.

I'd check the front bearings pads to see if they are worn out. Video's are included in the part links. Unplug the dryer first!
