Recently replaced dryer belt, ran great for two loads. Noticed that I didn’t tuck the wires back in as good as I should have so the drum rubbed one a bit. Dryer stopped working mid load. Would fixing the wire fix the problem or could I have cause more issues? The breaker didn’t flip. But nothing happens when I push the start button. Could this trip the thermal fuse?

Hi.

Unplug your dryer, then fix that wire that broke and then ohm test the dryer fuse for continuity.

Here's the dryer fuse for your model:

Its #418 in the parts diagram.
