Hello,

I've a gud27essj0ww stacked washer/dryer - had it for about 8 years now. It'll run through a wash/ rinse cycle no problem but once it gets to the spin cycle it sounds like it's working but then maybe after 5 or 10 minutes it'll start to blink green whilst the lock lid is red and engaged. I've had a certified GE technician come out twice: on the first visit, was here for maybe 10 minutes and all he did was put this bolt back in place (which immediately fell out after he ledt and I started to run a very tiny load of laundry). Then the second visit he put the bolt back in again, added a bracket to help make said bolt stay, and to make his time worth it put on a new belt on. As you can see in the photos I've attached the bolt will not stay put. I ran another small load after he left and heard the bolt pop off during the rinse cycle. I really do not want to call this GE guy back out for a third time at I feel like he doesn't truly know what he is doing. Any help would be appreciated.

That bolt holds the motor in place. If that comes loose it would make sense if the washer wasn't finishing the load. With the motor loose, the tension on the belt would be lost. If that bolt keeps coming out, the part it screws into might be stripped out. I'm not 100% sure what that screws into but I think its WH49X22795. Depending on your laundry room the job can be a real pain and labor extensive. I would call the dealer back and see if they will give you a estimate on replacing that part to see if its something you want to spend the money on.
