I purchased this combo on 7.11.22. Don't have model/serial #'s offhand but will post. The FIRST time I used the washer and everytime since (actually 19x since new..as I keep track)..when the washer agitator is moving it sounds like a 'severe grinding noise'...actually like someone groaning in agony!...it seems like something is rubbing.

I would like to hear from others if they have this noise. Is it normal? I just cannot believe any company would design a washer like this with this disturbing noise. When spinning it is loud but sounds more like normal but there is a 'thud-thud-thud" as agitator turns. Thanks for any advice/information. MODEL: GUD27ESSM1WW.

If it's under warranty, call for warranty service if you don't think it is performing properly.
