Hi, I should add GE makes an identical unit to the Haier mode specified above. Long story short the unit I just bought and am waiting for delivery I am a bit unsure if I should cancel the order or not. The main issue is the drying. The reviews are okay but a lot of people complain about the so called condensation drying. Is it really that bad? I guess there is no heating element. https://www.haierappliances.com/appliance/specs/qdt125sslss

Yes, cancel the order. Condensation drying is extremely bad.

Maytag is much more reliable and uses a heating element to dry.:)

I think it's more likely the GE name is put onto a Haier machine although it might have been made in a USA GE plant as Haier owns GE now. Many smaller or less popular models are however imported from offshore.

I'm afraid I've not heard of a condensing dry feature in a dishwasher. I don't know how they're designed to function. I also haven't heard of anyone's experience with them. Sorry.
