I have an issue with a Haier model HLC1700AXW 24" washer / dryer combo unit, purchased in mid 2020, factory warranty has expired.
My tenants are reporting an F9 Error - Dryer sensor circuit problem. I am told that this error has happened a few times in recent months, and unplugging the machine and plugging in again would clear it. However, now the error is persisting and the machine will not operate.
The owners manual and info online does not offer up anything more than to place a service call. I have talked to one service tech (who only works on units under warranty) and has suggested to me that this will likely require a new PCB assy, at close to $700 for parts. I am hoping for anyone else out there who has any experience or advice to offer and hopefully some things to try here, as I tackle many many problems as DIY.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
Note: I had to indicate GE under Brand as Haier was not an option.
