So I’m trying to replace a thermostat in my haier 2 compartment mini fridge.
getting the thermostat/probe out was easy enough, but I didn’t pay quite enough attention to where it came out, exactly. It used the same hole in the plastic internal lining As the power cable. it just slid out as I tugged.
now, I have the new thermostat and I can’t really find the channel to slide the probe end back in.
there’s a cable with the power wires and foam insulation but as I poke around with the old thermostat it’s not at all obvious how to get it back in.
any suggestions?
note: there’s a ge mini fridge with the same model number, so I used that in the brand section for the post, but the nameplate is haier.
