Ok, not sure if this is a stupid question or not. I stream using an Amazon Firestick. My thermostat is a Honeywell and I can hear it click when it turns on the AC. The thermostat is in the hall and the air exchange unit is in the laundry room behind it. AC system is Lennox. The TV/Firestick/modem is 15-20' away in the family room. I don't know if its a coincidence or not but many times when I hear the click of the thermostat turning on the show I am watching starts to buffer. This does not happen every time. Is there any way that thermostat or the air exchange unit kicking on is causing the buffering? Looking for any help in figuring this out. Thanks!

Rick

it might be electrical interference from a power surge when the A/C turns on. Try changing the outlet the TV is plugged into and/or putting it on a surge suppressor.
