I have to replace this fridge, as it's leaking and not cooling according to two repairmen who said it is not worth fixing. I need a replacement before the new owners of my home take over. It must be equivalent or newer. I have both the model and serial number and was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of the year of manufacturing? That way if I buy second hand, clearance, or refurbished in my budget - I will know that what I am buying is not older than the broken one. Thank you!

Actually the serial number indicates it could have been manufactured March of 1996 or 2006 or 2016 by Electrolux. It's parts manual is dated 12/05 so I would assume the March of 2006 is most likely its manufacturing date.
