How to remove door base on dishwasher? Kenmore 665.13242K900

I’ve taken this older, but perfectly working Kenmore Ultra Wash dishwater apart(door, base, drain ect.) but our dishes still come out covered in brown residue. I found the issue, now how to get this base plastic thing off to clean the sludge out??? See pics

If that's the air inlet at the base of the door, I believe the door has to come apart.

That’s it!! Thank you so much. I’ve been trying for 2 yrs to open and clean that Air Inlet.
I was about to give up and buy a new dishwasher. I bought the part JIC.
