I see huge icicles in the back of my freezer under the ice maker. Please see photo. I've been having a problem with the evaporator fan getting iced up also. I had a technician replace the ice chute flap but the evaporator fan still ices up regularly. The technician says the door seal is perfect and I should take the food out and unplug the freezer for 24 hours to let all the ice inside melt, but I haven't gotten around to that yet, so I've been using a hair dryer to de-ice the evaporator fan once or twice a day. What could cause these massive icicles to form in the back of the freezer?
