• ** REMEMBER! **The microwave can still shock you even unplugged!!

ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

The Exhaust fan and light keep running when I shut the door. The door switches read good when I shut the door, and the hood TCO is open like it should be, from what I read. I left a wire off the TCO and tried it to see if it would solve the problem, but it did not.

Would I be right in assuming the circuit board (RAS-0TR7HV) the hood TCO plugs into is the culprit?

Thanks! Looks like a 200 dollar part? I guess I'll be buying a new microwave.
