Greetings! I have a GE Cafe dual fuel C2S900P2MS1. 18 months old. I have experienced intermittent gas odor emanating from the left back vent. I cannot correlate it with use, no use, etc. There is just no pattern. I had the plumber out today to check the connection - no leak. I now have an appliance repair person coming next week. The smell is "mild" but the plumber did smell it when hovering right near the vent.

Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Its possibly one of the gas connections at the gas regulator is slightly loose and leaking a very small amount of gas.

I use a bottle of gas leak detector bubbles and apply it all around the gas line fittings to see if you get bubbles, if so that's the leak.
