FIXED JDS9860AAP Buzzing Relay, very slow heating

Did you ever check the wires? 6.5V can be lost in a pinched or almost broken wire or a bad connection. Check the pins in the connectors and make sure they are not starting to back out of the connector. Make sure all connections are tight. Your meter is set on DC volts?

Thanks. Yes. DC volts. It’s the same at the pins on the board. One thing I noticed is that it does surge to 24 volts and then goes back down to 17 every time it switches between the elements on bake. Perhaps that’s normal? I’m getting the new relay tomorrow night. Thank you.

New relay did the trick! The older control board fried both of the new relays quickly so lesson learned. Next time this happens I will replace the control unit and relay at the same time.
