Hello

I hope that you and your family are well.

My kitchen has a Jenn Air cooktop (model CVG4380). We usually only use the front two burners. I recently discovered that the knobs for the rear two burners won’t push in and turn to allow gas to flow to the rear burners. I think that they are frozen or stuck with hardened cooking oil.

The grill burners work great, but we don’t grill in the house, as it is incredibly messy.

How do I free up the two “stuck” gas valves?

Thank you, take care and have a great weekend.

Hi,

Most times when they are seized up, we have to replace the valve(s).

Valves are #7 an #5 in the parts breakdown here.

# 7 valve.
# 5 valve.

Could try a little wd40...but do remember that can be flammable.
