Jenn-air d120 range acting weird

Hi!

I have a very old (1981) Jenn-air d120 range with downdraft and side griddle. First the fan would act weird, cutting down to about half power or so with the griddle on. Now the oven doesn't work at all (no lights or heat) and the fan won't turn on with the manual switch. I checked breakers and power and such, everything I tested has 120v and appears normal. Thermostat seems to be switching on and off, and the timer doesn't affect it (which hasn't worked since we moved in.) Also, oven lights, griddle, and regular burners work without any problems. Any ideas on what I should check for problems?

Hi,

Should be 220-240 volts AC.

Now the oven doesn't work at all (no lights or heat) and the fan won't turn on with the manual switch.

-Some- older Canadian models had breakers built into the range...some did not. Burnt wire, bad control/selector switch, open clock contacts might be suspect for making the entire oven quit.

jeff.
