I need help with a Jenn-air wall oven. The oven was heating up and then losing temp, now it won't even heat up. It looks like the upper element starts to heat but the bottem one does not. I pulled it out and checked and it has 20 ohms of resitance. What else ahould I be checking. My guess its going to be the control board which was just replace about 2 years ago. On a side note I have a jenn air dishwaher, refigerator and oven and all three have had problems with elctical parts:mad:

Thanks in advance

Was the clock/oven control board replaced or the relay board?

When ovens are on the bake cycle only the bottom element should get red hot, never the top broil one.

I'm leaning towards the relay board being bad, since your bottom element checks good at 20 ohms.

Here's the relay board for your model:
Manufacturer part number 74006613 is RepairClinic item number 905230

I thought maybe the top one got hot during the preheat The clock/oven control board was replaced. I thought they were together guess not. Where is the relay board located? If you think thats what it is I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and order that. 250.00 may be a small price to pay to keep my wife happy, shes not liking it with out an oven.

Thanks much Jake.

It shows to be located in behind your front panel behind your clock/oven control board.

Make sure you turn the breaker off to your oven first.
