Hello, I'm hoping someone here can help solve this mystery. We had something interesting happen when we had the house power washed - several outlets in the kitchen went out, but we managed to get them going again after popping the breakers. However, the oven will NOT turn on.

So, stove top works fine, but neither oven will come on. The red light will come on when the dial is turned, but the ovens don't do anything - no sound of gas coming in, certainly no firing of the gas. Nothing. I can turn the oven light on.

For reference, a new igniter was installed last year... so it would be surprising if it were that. Any other suggestions?

Are the oven ignitor(s) glowing when the oven is turned ON?

Only to you.

Don't assume. Unless they were replaced immediately prior to when this condition occurred, don't assume they're good now

No, the igniters are not glowing.

Someone will need to investigate why. The ignitors could be electrically open (pretty unlikely but easy to test for continuity), the gas valve could be electrically open (pretty unlikely but easy to test for continuity), the thermostats could be electrically open (pretty unlikely but easy to test for continuity) or there could be a problem in the internal wiring.

Could a power surge blown them somehow?

The ignitors, gas valve and thermostats would likely only be affected by a surge if they were actually in use at the time. That pretty much leaves the wiring or power to the appliance... although the latter is less likely if the surface burners are sparking.

Someone could confirm proper power to the appliance and continuity of components mentioned above. If none of them test as defective the internal wiring to the ovens might need to be investigated.

I don't know if it will help but I've attached the unit's 'tech sheet' which includes its wiring diagram.
