I ordered a dual front right burner part number W10823722. The box had that number on it but the element had part number on it ( W10423408) that went to a different stove.
The company first said it was not the part number but factory number. Then changed it to say it was redesigned to work with my stove. Can anyone tell me if it has been changed? and is the right one for the stove?

W10823722 is the part number of a 'kit' which consists of an element (of whatever part #) a couple of wire extensions(?) and an instruction page. It is not the number of just the element.

Unless there is some actual reason the element appears different (physical size, very different wattage, etc.) I would suggest it is the correct part. Follow the instructions included.
