I have a GE propane cooking oven.

I do not know how these work but it acts like the thermostat is gone. It was on 400 degrees and the internal temp was 550. It has done this before but it's intermittent.

How hard are these to fix? Is it a sensor or likely a computer problem. Expedited replies appreciated.

Corrected model number

Recheck your model number. Be sure to read it from the model tag on the machine. GE model numbers usually start with two or three letters then three or four numbers and some more letters.

Check the oven sensor for 1100Ω at room temperature.

If the sensor checks good replace the control
