    ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

    Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
    ...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

FIXED JMV9169BAP Blowing fuse when I press start

I just pressed start and found that my fuse is blown with of course no power. Can I just replace the fuse and be OK? What is causing the fuse to blow? Thanks!

Jeff! Thanks much. I replaced the fuse and it appears to be working. I am worried it will blow again????

It may....just pay attention to how....opening the door, closing the door, pressing start, etc ,etc.
