My freezer is on the bottom. Water appears to be leaking from from the ice maker in the back left corner. The ice cube tray is full of frozen water and the cubes that are dispensed end up all freezing together. There is also a sheet of ice on the freezer bottom. I removed all the ice and turned the ice maker off and now there is no water leaking issue so that is why I believe it is coming from the ice maker. Another detail that may be relevant is that I recently changed the water filter in the refrigerator.

Do I need to replace the entire ice maker? Or is there a specific part I should try replacing first? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

After years of running fine the printed circuit in the module head often wears and the contacts become too long and allow the icemaker to overfill, and the only solution is replacing the ice maker.

Here's the ice maker assembly for your model you can order here:

There is a video in the ice maker part link that shows you "how to" replace it.
