The convention fan on the smaller oven (left side) is continuously running even with the oven is turned off. We noticed it one morning when we heard the fan running. The oven was off....not hot, nothing on the screen except for the clock. No error codes.

I turned off the breaker multiple times and the fan still runs constantly. We had a power flicker the other night before this issue started happening.

I bet it is the control board, but when I took the bottom trim off, there are two boards in two separate metal compartments that look similar. Is one for the left and one for the right oven?

Originally, before I saw the two boards underneath the oven, I thought I needed to replace item WPW10298120. However, that looks like a readout control type board and not what I am seeing also labeled as a control board online.
Are both of the boards under the oven considered the "appliance manager"?
I followed the schematics for the convention fan and it appears to be connected to the "appliance manager".
I assume a relay is bad....what board should I investigate/replace?

Thanks!

Can’t figure out if it is the small readout control board or the bigger board that needs replaced....and which of the two bigger boards. 😬

Hi Jon,

Rick is on the back 40 punching cows. LOL

Your convection fan relay is stuck closed on your appliance manager board. You'll need to replace the appliance manager board. Make sure you disconnect power to your range before replacing it.:)

Here's the appliance manager board for your model you can order:
W10852104 Cntrl-Elec

Two other members had this same issue, and the new appliance manager fixed them both:

🐄 They punched me first...Lol. Appliance manager for each oven. I believe it's labeled"upper" and "lower" on the boards because they're not exactly the same.

Thanks guys!

I looked at both boards and they have the same part number stamped on the board (W10339701). Can I purchase part W10339701 (around $250) instead of W10852104 (around $335)? Or should I go with the latest board?

I would assume the board on the left handles the left oven and right board handles the right oven but I haven’t seen any markings on the board to indicate “left” yet. I have not removed the boards entirely. The right board does not slide out nearly as easily as the left board but that may be because a wire caught on something. Not sure yet. I haven’t investigated the cause of that yet as I wanted to make sure I was on the right track first.

Lastly, I assume you can’t just replace the bad relay can you? I know how to solder.

The manufacturer has replaced part number W10339701 with part number W10852104.

Its best to get the W10852104.

I would assume the board on the left handles the left oven and right board handles the right oven
That is correct.

Lastly, I assume you can’t just replace the bad relay can you?
Nope, as techs we don't replace parts at board level. We replace the entire board.:)

Unfortunately, it seems everyone is out of stock on the part I need. Argh.
I may have to go with the same board that is in the range now. I found one on eBay (which I prefer not going through eBay)

Mine is Rev D but the one on eBay is Rev C. Same part numbers. Will that be ok?

Good news. I found W10852104 in stock for $298 with free shipping. That is roughly $50 more than the W10339701 that I also found....but I guess I should go with the latest board even though the other board that I am not having to replace for the right oven is also a W10339701....hmmmm
