Hi jake! I have the exact same problem as in this thread. A tech came out and replaced our motor so the dishes are washing now but no heat/heat dry- our dishes are left cold and wet. I tried to do what you suggested but when I press those three buttons 3 times in sequence, nothing happens. It doesn’t all light up and start washing. It does nothing. Why is that? What else can I try? Thank you so much!

Same model number KDTE234GPS0 ? The model number tag is located inside the door on the tub frame.

When did the tech come out?

He came out a few days ago and I tried running it a few times and everything was cold and not dry . He thinks it’s a sensor? He said he is going to try replacing? He tested that the heat is working. I wanted to try this reset though first to see if that would fix it

You have a high-limit thermostat between the heater and control board.

Here's the high-limit thermostat for your model:
Thermostat WPW10195091

Here's the tech. data sheet: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VmXCwS74XGYh_yh76WVtTRw9GC6vMJYB/view?usp=share_link

P4-2 and P4-3 is the heater relay on the main control board.

Also the OWI sensor.

With power off to the dishwasher, the tech can Measure NTC resistance at P12-1 and P12-3 connector disconnected from control board. It should measure 46K to 52K ohms at room temperature about 77*F.

Here's the OWI sensor for your model:

Wow thank you!! So a reset won’t help in this case. I had just wanted to try it. I appreciate your help!!!

Possibly not, but you can try again.

Run the SERVICE DIAGNOSTICS CYCLE, and let it run all the way through to reset it back to default.

Entry sequence: Press any 3 keys in the sequence 1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2-3 with no more than 1 second between key presses. NOTE: Some models have replaced the “Clean” LED with “Completed.”
The Service Diagnostics Cycle will start when the door is closed.

--->Invoking Service Diagnostics clears all status and last run information from memory and restores defaults. It also forces the next cycle to be a sensor calibration cycle.

LET IT RUN ALL THE WAY THROUGH: Service diagnostic cycle will take about 23 minutes.
