My dishwasher (KDTE334DSS1) seems to be getting extremely hot inside during operation and is shriveling and melting plasticware. This has never happened before. I ran the dishwasher overnight last night and there was a few hours between when it was finished and when I opened it to put dishes away this morning. Upon opening, everything inside still seemed pretty hot to the touch, which is abnormal. Any suggested remedies are appreciated. Thanks.

Do a cycle on AIR DRY/NO HEAT and see if you notice any difference.

I just ran a NORMAL cycle and deselected NO HEAT and HIGH TEMP WASH. I opened up the dishwasher right after completion and the usual hot steam came out but it seems that its not as abnormally hot as stated in my original post.

Ok, then I'd just leave it on NO HEAT and HIGH TEMP WASH and it should work fine.
