The small top spray arm of my KitchenAid keeps falling off. I assume I must have knocked it off by putting somthing too large on the top "Cullenary Rack". I keep snapping it back on, and it seems to stay, then the next time I run the unit, I assume the water presure blows it off (It worked fine for the first year or so). Just to be clear, this is the small, 5", wash arm, not the middle one under the upper large basket.

I can only think of 2 possibilities; either the retaining clip might be worm and not securing the arm tightly enough or the mounting hole in the arm is worn and not allowing the clip to secure it tightly enough. Unfortunately the retaining clip is ridiculously priced for just a tiny piece of plastic.

Thanks. I didn't realize it was up there. Before, when I was pushing the wash arm up, I was inadvertently pushing the retaining pin up and away. With a finger over & under the arm & assembly, I was able to pinch it back together.

You guys are the best.
