Hi. I have a Kelvinator model: K43H-11-R, with same symptoms as:

Kelvinator TCK210MN will not shut off compressor

A Kelvinator refrigerator I bought in 1979 will not shut off. After defrosting it for 24 hours, I found that the temperature control would turn off the compressor. So I loaded it back up, and behold, only 24 hours later, it is working overtime, and the temperature control will not turn off...

The thermostatic is bad, I don't know the part # nor model year of the refrigerator. Anyone know what part # thermostatic is correct for my model? And where to find a replacement thermostat?

i don't have parts lists for older Kelvinator products to look up part numbers. If you get access to the original thermostat, post a photo of all the numbers printed on it and I'll try to trace them to a replacement.

On a side note, If anyone is looking to sell older Kelvinator parts microfiche set I might be interested in purchasing them.
