The control panel on left refer door is dark and the 3 LEDs that light up the area below are blinking. The compressor and fans are running and I believe it is going through defrost also. It will not dispense ice or water and is not making ice probably because the bin is full. So with no controls lit up and no beeps coming from panel I suspect it is bad. Cannot adjust anything without this panel working. Any other ideas? Next steps? How about a part number if you suspect a board? Do I order from FOX APPLIANCE or do you have a better source?

I'd first check the wiring coming into the door, should be either underneath the top left door hinge cover or underneath the freezer door, check the wire connectors too to make sure they are not loose and the metal pins in them are tight.

You should have a tech. data sheet either behind the bottom kickplate grille or underneath the right side door upper hinge cover, it should tell you the voltage you should be getting to the control panel(user interface), if that's good, then your main control board should be fine, and the problem would be just the control panel(user interface) you'd need to replace.

Here's the control panel(user interface) for your model: Control Assembly 5304508772

Its currently out-of-stock at AppliancePartsPros, but Sears has it in stock: https://www.searspartsdirect.com/product/5ojz7zct4a-0046-253/id-5304508772

Here's the main control board for your model, if needed: Board Assembly, main Power,w/ho 5304508862

I did check plugs at top left of left door and all is tight. Since I had to fiddle with something else all day, I will be on this in the a.m.. Thanks Jake and I will report back as to results. Don

So over Tuesday night time hours we had some big electrical rain storms in N. Ga.. I get up in the morning and I hear beeping every minute from the kitchen. I figured the power had gone out and came back on but that was not the case, The panel we are discussing came back on and was signaling to push "SET" on the front. I did and it is working still. I already thanked God for this happy event.

I do suspect the heavy thunder and house shudder many have had something to do with this. But anyway Jake, as always I appreciate all you do for us. I have the board numbers written down in case. Thank you. Don
