Kenmore 596.77609801 Frost in refrigerator

Have the kenmore 596.77609801.

Just noticed frost build up in the top back where the air blows in to the refrigerator. Temp reading 50 degrees and 0 in freezer. Freezer running fine no build up.

Fridge feels cold to me. Guessing might be a faulty thermostat or something?

That is where it frost builds up, but I don’t think it’s the issue. I thought someone had left the refrigerator open but today the temperature is showing 100 in the refrigerator when it’s probably 38

Yes,

Its possibly the refrigerator section thermistor. You can Ohm test it by using a multimeter to ohm test its resistance. At room temperature (77*F) the thermistor should measure about 10K ohms.
