When running through a cycle overnight, it stopped mid-cycle. When I tried to restart, nothing happened. Some lights appeared to be very dimly lit, but nothing would happen no matter which button was pressed. I have reset it by unplugging for 10 mins. Now, the only thing that happens when I try anything is the drain will run continuously.

The lights are no longer dimly lit, but even after more resets I can only press the cancel/drain button and the drain runs. The micro switch for the drain tests OK and I have removed all water inside the unit by removing the pump assembly and disconnecting the hoses. Looking for what to try next?
Thank You

Now I've seen some of these control boards have burnt components on them and that would be the case too for this problem. Did you check your control board for burnt spots on it?

Here's the control board for your model:
Main Control Board WPW10084141

If you find no burnt components on the control board--->Here's a test to determine which part is the problem:
A blinking LED over one of the keys of the keypad (or sometimes a “dead” keypad/console) indicates one or more key switch lines are stuck or shorted on the control board or the keypad. To determine if the control board OR control panel keypad is faulty, do the following test:
Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power, then Open the dishwasher door. Open console and disconnect the keypad ribbon connection from the control board (at P1). Make sure all other connections are made. Put console back together. Do not close the dishwasher door. Plug in dishwasher or reconnect power. Wait 5 seconds. Close dishwasher door. Monitor the control’s response.

➔If the control board is OK (no longer sees shorts with the control panel keypad unplugged), it will respond by turning on the drain motor for 2 minutes. Replace the control panel keypad if the drain motor turns on.

➔If the control board is not OK (still sees shorts with the control panel keypad unplugged), then the drain motor will NOT respond. If drain motor does not start within 10 seconds, repeat or verify that all steps were followed, and then replace the control board.

Here's the control panel keypad for your model: Panel-Cntl WP8572838 But its no longer available from the factory.

Testing as you describe by unplugging P1 - the drain runs so it appears I need to replace the control panel keypad. The issue now of course is finiding one....
Thank You

Yes, you are correct, finding one may be a challenge.
