Hello,

We have a Kenmore 665 ultra wash and it just started to do this. It takes 4 hrs. to complete it cylce completely. Sometimes it does not completely dry either. Any ideas?

Hi,

Post the full model# and not just the prefix #'s.

Very possible the "heat element" or the "heat upwater" is not working...this can cause -l o n g- cycles and and poor drying. Have you checked the water temp inside the d/w? 120ºF min and the closer to 140 is better.

What happens is that you start it and when it goes from cycle to cycle, it stops and the lights blink, wash cycle light and then the three stage lights. It does this at each cycle until it finally finishes. The green "clean" light does not come on anymore either. The model is 665.17772

Hi,

**665.17772**

I found, 665.17772990 &665.17772992

Both showed 2 thermostats ( one on the underneath of the liner and one in the plastic body part of the motor and pump assembly ).

Heating element and thermostats and water temp entering the d/w are things we would likely check first.
