I have a freezer that randomly stops making ice. I can tell that the tube is freezing where the water pumps in the ice trays. I have tried adjusting the temp, getting a small pick and clearing the ice buildup and the reset button each time on the ice maker. Don't know what the issue is, I am tired of clearing the ice in the hose every few weeks or so. I have even tried putting styrofoam around the tube which helps a little. Is it the inlet valve? Water and everything else works fine no leaks.

Yes, It's common over time the water valve diaphragm wears out and a small amount of water gets into the ice maker fill tube. It may only be a drop or two every minute or so and may not actually drip into the ice maker but that's enough to cause a problem--->It freezes in the ice maker fill tube and starts to build up and clogs that ice maker fill tube.

Here's the water inlet valve for your model:

No, it should be in the very back on your model.

Late reply. How can you test the water output? I see a little reset button when i do it the auger turns where the cubes are but never any water. Another way?

On the inlet valve. Where does the blue hose go after it plugs into the valve? And any idea what size the blue hose is? I need to get a coupler for it.

Its either 1/4" or 5/16".

You can just use the current tubing on your unit, Its probably that blue tubing that comes with the part is a spare if you need it, but I don't know that for sure, because I haven't replaced this particular water inlet valve as of yet.

So, for whatever reason the valve has been replaced a few weeks ago. It made ice 1 time after I installed. Tried pushing that little button on the ice maker with a paper clip multiple times over multiple days and goes through the cycle. No luck. Wake up yesterday and notice there is ice in the box and in the ice maker about to dump. Today it stopped again. Ice is still sitting in the tray. Maybe I need some kind of electronic board that tells the value to let water in and tells the motor to push the ice out if that is a thing? Thoughts?
Just weird after a month it started making ice out of the blue and stops again.

Well, its either a bad ice maker or the control board. Usually its a bad ice maker itself.

Here's the ice maker for this model:

I don't have the tech. data sheet for this model to confirm its a control board problem or not. Usually all refrigerators come with them, check underneath the front bottom kickplate grille or underneath the upper right side door hinge cover.

But I'd certainly look for any burnt or discolored spots on the control board, and if you do notice them, then I'd say you found the bad part.

Here's the control board for your model:
