I have a Kenmore 90 Series washing machine. I removed the tub to clean it and scraped off a ton of moldy soap scum from the inner and outer baskets. There's a large, round, plastic lint filter attached under the inner basket with four tabs. The disc has comb teeth all round the edge (see photo in the linked post below). It seems this part is unavailable and there are no instructions for replacing it. I need to figure out how to remove it safely to clean it. The tabs are require a wedge to pry open, so getting all four of them open at the same time seems impossible. Any tips on getting the filter off without breaking it? I want to clean it and reattach it.

This is a picture of the lint filter that attaches to the underside of the inner basket. There is not a problem with it, I removed it from the bottom of the basket to remove 26 years of dog and cat hair that was trapped there. While watching videos about my machine, one video said to throw out...
