Recently our fridge wasn’t cooling at all. The fridge was at room temp and the freezer felt slightly cooler than room temp. We cleaned and vacuumed the condenser coils, changed the start capacitor (wasn’t reading the proper capacitance), and defrosted the coils inside the freezer. After plugging it in, the fridge was definitely colder and the fridge side seems to be working properly, but the freezer isn’t freezing. It reaches a point where the water in the ice cube tray starts becoming solid, but then it just goes back to water. What are some recommendations to try and resolve this issue?

If the compressor and fans are running but it is not cooling properly someone will need to open up the freezer compartment and post photos of what frost has been able to accumulate on the evaporator (cooling) coil.

Do not do any manual defrosting before disassembly. We need to see the frosting after running for at least several hours of operation.
