Hi there,

I am getting an error message which you can see on the attached pictures. I have a couple questions...

1-what is the actual model # for this dryer’s real maker if I need a parts guide? I think it is a Samsung???

1-what could cause this error code-the dryer beeps and this message pops up then it shuts off. There is definitely hot air.

592-89003 01

Guessing....poor air flow ( venting, vent hood, lint filter, etc ), bad thermostat or temp thermistor, welded closed relay on a board. Would have to be investigated.

1) Most ( almost all ) Canadian model# are not online.
2) If there is a Samsung look-a-like, they have not told us.
3) Have you tried asking Samsung? We know they made this unit, maybe they can help.

Sorry can't help more.

Try asking Samsung Canada or one of their Canadian service depots. Samsung in the USA probably doesn't have a clue about the machines made for Sears Canada.

I'm afraid I have no ideas to help.

When it cool down, can you use it again? if yes, then disconnect vent hose and try to run it without hose attached. If it will run ok, most likely vent somewhere clogged.

Turns out the heating element while it has continuity it was shorted out as the heating coil was touching the metal casing it sits in.
