Kenmore garbage disposer leaking from bottom

I have a Kenmore garbage disposer Model 175.601151. It is leaking from the bottom. I am sure of this as I tested it by putting the stopper in the sink and running the water until it was several inches deep. Then I started the disposer and pulled the plug and let the water drain. There is no leakage from either the sink flange or the dishwasher and sink pipes.

Is there any repair that can be done besides replacing the unit?

Hi,

When we see a "wet" unit....water is passing through the seals, motor, electrics all the way to the bottom....replacing the unit is the best repair.
