Kenmore 363.63672201 turntable does not turn. Microwave works. I'm assuming convection also works. I can manually turn turntable.

Looked at the parts diagrams and I'm thinking it is either the motor or a control board. This is a wall mounted / over the range unit. It appears I can remove the bottom panel to get access to the motor.

My thought is.... Pull the panel and check the leads on the motor to see if it is getting power. If yes, motor is bad and it is a $48 part. If no, the issue is with a control board, about $300+ and maybe time for a new unit.

Am I headed in the right direction? Any thoughts?

That sounds like the way to proceed however in the case of no power, there might also be a slim chance of a problem with it's wiring. Maybe a loose or burnt connection? You might need to trace the wiring back to confirm the board failure.
