** REMEMBER! **The microwave can still shock you even unplugged!!

ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

Model Number: 721.80829500

Brand: Sears Kenmore

Age: 6-10 years

The front door panel cracked on my above stove microwave. I found the part number but It appears the part has been discontinued and no longer available on most sites. It's either Part #383EW1A108A for the door panel or #3581W1A377R for the entire door assembly. I tried eBay but no luck. Does anyone have any ideas where I could look to find something like this that's been discontinued and be certain it's the right color? I did read that it should be done by a professional so they can test that the shielding works. If I do find the part, is that something I should take seriously or is it a relatively easy repair?
