Hello, I finally installed a water line for my ice maker and now it is not producing ice. The control screen on the door display a red light (not blinking red light). The manual said I should prime the water supply to get the air out but my refrigerator does not have a water dispenser. Any ideas on what I should try and do next?

EDIT: I checked the water filter and it seems dry. I'm thinking it may be the solenoid? I did not run the ice maker when we first got the refrigerator about three years ago.

Ok, take the water supply line off and put it in a bucket and test the water pressure, it should be a good strong stream coming out.

Here's the water inlet valve for your model:
242252702 Water Valve

Here's the way to direct test your water inlet valve: Testing ice maker water supply at the solenoid

The GREEN solenoid is the ice maker side solenoid on your model that supplies water to the ice maker.
