Kenmore Washer 110.20922990 - Drive Block is stuck in the inner tub

Water was pouring out under my washer, from googling it seemed to be the outer tub seal. I took the washer apart to get to the outer tub. When I was pulling the inner tub up and off - the drive block came with it and now it seems to be stuck in the inner tube hole. How would I get this out, unless it can stay there as long as I put it on the shaft properly? It seemed that outer tub had a crack on the bottom t so I assume that is why water was pouring out. Is there anything else I should check while the washer is dismantled?

You can leave the drive block attached to the inner spin basket or knock it out, doesn't matter, just as long as it mounts back in place properly on the basket drive.

But at the current price of it of $671.00 if would be more wise to save the repair money for a new washer.

I replaced the tub seal, put everything back together, put some water in it and put on the spin cycle - when the spin gets to full speed it makes loud banging noises as if its not balanced or something. I give up for tonight. Do you have any idea what I did wrong when putting it back together.
