I just purchased a house with a Kitchen Aid KUIS18PNJB8 and it needed a new water inlet valve. It had a GE inlet valve "WR57X10033" so I replaced it with the same part twice. It will run for a day or 2 and suddenly the inlet valve is not allowing water to flow. I have recently noticed the actual part should be W10881366 - would that valve make a difference? I checked the valves for continuity and there is none. What could be causing the valves to fail?

Yes, you have to use the exact same OEM water inlet valve per KitchenAid, or the water inlet valve WR57X10033 will keep failing.

Here's the OEM water inlet valve for your model you can order:
W10881366 Valve

Let us know how it goes.
