I have an old Kitchen-Aid Superba KSRS25CHWH00 refrigerator that the Ice maker and water stopped working. Before they stopped the ice was overfilling and freezing over ice cube trays.

I cant find part numbers or replacement videos/how to for ice maker or water valve/solenoid removal/reinstall.

Any help or suggestions? Thanks!

Added complete model number

We need the complete model number first.

Read it from the model number tag on the machine.

Then you will see a link that says: How to find a model number.

That’s the only model number I can find. I’ve looked everywhere? Attached is a picture of the only thing I can find

That's it! Thanks!

For the ice maker overfilling problem--->I've seen this many times on my service calls, the fill circuit strip wears down over time and starts overfilling the ice maker more and more.:)

You'd need to replace the ice maker to fix it.

Here's the Ice Maker assembly for your model you can order:
4317943 Whirlpool Icemaker Kit

For the ice and water dispenser not working read below:

Here's the parts diagram for your model:

#15 is the bracket support, that may be the issue, read below:

I'd first check the dispenser bracket that holds the ice dispenser switch in place, to make sure the little plastic pins are not broken.

The most common issue when this happens on your model is the bracket support plastic switch pins break, thus no water or no ice.

You would need to remove your front dispenser frame #23 in that diagram.

Then look at your support bracket #15 to see if the little plastic pins are broken that hold your ice and water dispenser switches #14 in place.

Here's the dispenser bracket for your model you can order(Video Included in part link):

Let us know what you find.

Thanks for response! I’ll order ice maker and also check the dispenser bracket as you recommend.

I also thought maybe fill valve/solenoid might be bad - do you have part number for that?

Thanks again!

Here it is for your model:
W10408179 Water Inlet Valve

That would only be bad if you turned the ice maker OFF but the water still kept coming into the ice maker by-itself.

Ok, I checked dispenser bracket pins and they were fine.

I found the ice maker and solenoid from local parts house. Installed both - water works at the door now, but no ice from ice maker, hasn’t filled or done anything since installed. Temp in freezer is around 6-8 degrees.

Any suggestions?

Give it up to 72 hours to start making ice.

Also make sure your ice maker fill tube is not clogged with ice.
