FIXED KitchenAid dishwasher KDTE104DSS0 heated dry not working - Error code 7-1

My KitchenAid dishwasher KDTE104DSS0 is not heat drying lately. Cleaning is fine though. I ran the diagnostic and it shows error code 7-1.
I tested the continuity with multimeter on heating element and high limit thermostat and it is fine.
Please help with the next step in troubleshooting and fixing this.

Hi,

If the heating element and high-limit thermostat both ohm test good, then the only other part that controls the heating element is the control board.

Thanks for the reply. I have only checked the continuity on heating element and high limit thermostat. I haven't tested ohm yet. How do I test the ohm on those?

Fuse ohm testing is the same as high-limit thermostat ohm testing.

I took the circulation pump out of my KitchenAide, suspecting it might be my culprit.
Is there a way to test if it's good or not?

I read somewhere about clearing up the error code. I pressed Hi-Temp button during diagnosis cycle when it started displaying the error code lights and that seemed to have worked. My dishwasher's heated dry is working fine now. So apparently there was no real issue. But not sure what caused it to go into the error mode though. Thanks.

Yes, good job clearing the error code, some people have been able to do a RESET as well by doing the diagnostics cycle to get the heating element working again too.
