Our KitchenAid dishwasher has another problem. It started leaking last night, diagnostic shows a 9-1 fault (diverter electronics?). I ran a test cycle and saw water dripping from the diverter, though I’ve seen from other threads that something else might be leaking. What is the best way to troubleshoot from here? Or do I just need to buy some new seals and swap out some parts? Thanks for the guidance!!

Here’s a video of the leak during a normal wash cycle.

Yes, that's the diverter motor, so water has gotten into that diverter motor, so you will need to replace the diverter motor AND the sump assembly, which has the diverter motor seal in it.

Here's the diverter motor for your model:
W10537869 Motor

There is a video in the part link that shows you how to replace it.

Here's the sump assembly, which includes the diverter seal already installed in the sump assembly, for your model:

Or you can get the entire PUMP/MOTOR assembly that comes with the new sump assembly and diverter motor already installed for you, and a new wash motor already installed for you:
