I'm super frustrated. I just paid $137 to KitchenAid Parts for Detergent Dispenser #W10861000 just because a tiny button fell off the original dispenser door. KitchenAid won't sell just the dispenser door. Anyway, now the replacement door button fell off after two uses. KitchenAid is sending me another detergent dispenser but I'm going to have to pay a repair person $$$ just to switch out the part. Is anyone else having this ridiculous defective occur? I paid about $500 for the dishwasher just over a year ago and now I shelling out big bucks just to replace a tiny plastic button. What a ripoff. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Yes, the only way to fix it is replacing it with a new one. Yes, if it broke that soon after you got it, its under warranty and glad to hear they are sending you another new one for free.
