Kitchenaid DW KDFE104HBL0. Spray arms not working. Not spraying water or rotating. I cannot get the correct sequence to reset the dishwasher.

The arms are not spraying water or rotating. All filters are clean. I can't get the correct button sequence to do a reset or valid a error code. The button panel is on the front. Tried normal, heat dry 4 times and nothing. It says the DW needs to be in standby mode..??? Suggestions please

Run the SERVICE DIAGNOSTICS CYCLE, and let it run all the way through to reset it back to default.

Entry sequence: Press any 3 keys in the sequence 1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2-3 with no more than 1 second between key presses. NOTE: Some models have replaced the “Clean” LED with “Completed.”
The Service Diagnostics Cycle will start when the door is closed.

--->Invoking Service Diagnostics clears all status and last run information from memory and restores defaults. It also forces the next cycle to be a sensor calibration cycle.

LET IT RUN ALL THE WAY THROUGH: Service diagnostic cycle will take about 23 minutes.

Do that and report back.

If the wash motor is still not running, that usually indicates a bad wash motor. To verify that--->You can remove the wash motor electrical connector underneath the dishwasher and measure resistance across the electrical connector on the motor. It needs to read 5-15 Ohms.

Ok, disconnect power to the dishwasher(turn the breaker off to it, or unplug it) then take the main control board out and look to see if you notice any burnt spots on it.

FYI on my KDTM504EPA1 i had to do 1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2 (just kept doing 123 until it went into service mode)
